Facts
Kylie, who is hyperglycemic, battled breast cancer in 2005. She has been romantically linked to her Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan, INXS singer Michael Hutchence, actor Olivier Martinez, model Andres Velencoso and actor Joshua Sasse. She is 4ft 11in tall, and her first name means "boomerang" in the Aboriginal Noongar language. In a head-munching assault on Doctor Who continuity, Kylie was mentioned by name in the 2006 episode The Idiot's Lantern (and her 1989 song Never Too Late), before playing Astrid in the following year's Christmas special. This means the actress exists within the Doctor Who universe, so when she appears in Voyage of the Damned, does it mean Doctor Who becomes a fictional aspect of its own universe (recursive occlusion)?! Here's Kylie on Twitter.

Career highlights
Nicholas is a prominent journalist and newsreader who started his career with the BBC in 1976 and became one of the first two newsreaders on the Six O'Clock News in 1984. In 1989 he transferred to the breakfast news, and in 1998 became the BBC's royal and diplomatic correspondent.

2014: Broadcasting Press Guild Writer's Award (Broadchurch)
Facts
In 1986, Chris appeared as a fresh-faced 16-year-old on BBC discussion show Open Air, criticising the recently broadcast Season 23 for being poorly written, unchallenging, boring and cliched, with "silly monsters". He verbally sparred with writers Pip and Jane Baker and producer John Nathan-Turner on the quality of the series. More than 30 years later he'd be the one in the showrunner's chair fielding criticism from a much more vocal fandom! Before breaking into television, Chris was a football archivist and a floor manager for Sky Sports, and then a theatre administrator. He was also one of the British writers (alongside fellow Doctor Who writer Matthew Graham) involved in developing an ultimately aborted Star Wars live action TV series called Underworld for Lucasfilm.
