In a 2020 podcast, she said: "Oh I hate cycling, I won't cycle. No, I fucking hate cyclists. My husband is a cyclist and if I see him on the road on his bicycle, I'm going to run him over. Anne is best known for hosting the television quiz show Weakest Link (both the UK and US editions) between 2000-12, as well as fronting the consumer affairs programme Watchdog on and off between 1993-2015 and BBC feedback slot Points of View 1987-96.
